Our Philosophy and our People.
Our Philosophy 

C.A.A.B Publishing is an independent publishing house founded in Chichester, UK. We publish most genres of fiction including novels, collections of short stories, children’s books and occasional anthologies, as well as non-fiction, including memoirs and travel writing.


C.A.A.B is built on some very important ideals:


1. Publishers and Authors should share in the success and risk of a book. We are not a vanity press and will never ask you to pay for our services ahead of a book being published. We expect our authors to be actively involved in promoting their books and we will support this to ensure that we all succeed together. 


2. We believe that great literature, and great publishing, is for everyone. We don't want any author to feel like an outsider, with their nose pressed against the glass of the 'literary world'; we will never be elitist or exclusive. We will treat world-famous and first-time writers with the same respect and courtesy that they deserve. 


3. We want to be part of a supportive network and we want you to join us in that network, helping each other, sharing links, going along to local events, being a family of great authors.  We are not saying that it will be easy, but we will always do our best to keep our authors informed and fully supported.

International Authors

We are now pleased to announce that we have set up an international team to work with authors outside the UK. As we are new to this space there is currently a different level of distribution available for UK and Non-UK authors so if you are submitting a manuscript it is important to make sure you use the correct submissions portal.

 Our Directors
Chrissy Brown is our Creative Director. She heads up all aspects of our production and design work working with our in house and external designers and our staff and contract editor teams. Chrissy has been an author for many years and understands the problems that can come up when working with an independent publisher. She understands that you can often feel that you are left on your own after the book has launched, with little support for marketing and making the books a success. It was these problems that led us to set up C.A.A.B Publishing where our approach is to create a real partnership where we work together to give an authors work as wide a distribution as possible.

Chrissy has certificates in Editing from Poynter University and Reedsy as well as diplomas in Child Development and Business Management.
Adam Brown is our Operations Director who manages our Marketing, Distribution, Finance and IT Teams. Adam's background is in marketing data science where he has managed teams of marketing analysts using a test and learn methodology for several large global companies. His focus is on creating marketing strategies based on consumer insight, as well as making sure everyone gets paid.

Adam has Awards in Data Management and Digital Marketing from the Institute of Data & Marketing (IDM) 
Illustrators and Editors
Suzi White is our in house illustrator. She is a sketch artist who has held exhibitions in Paris and Dubai. Suzi's first project with us was as a free lance illustrator on the book over 100 facts to make you LOL she later agreed to come onboard full time. She has been featured in various magazines and blogs and more details of her work can be found on her personal Webpage and Instagram

Alongside our in house Illustrator and Editors we work with many freelancers to help with getting our books ready. If you are an illustrator or editor and are interested in being added to our list please contact us to have a conversation.
